Working in Victoria's Child Protection Service

Victoria has an enviable reputation for the quality of its child protection practice.

As part of the child and family services reforms in the State of Victoria, we are looking for experienced child protection workers to come and live in Victoria and be part of an integrated workforce committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children and their families.

New Zealand information sessions – Feb 2010

Information sessions about these vacancies will be conducted in New Zealand in early 2010.These sessions will offer you information about a career as an Advanced Child Protection Practitioner in Victoria, Australia.

The presenter, Amanda Howard, is the Manager of Child and Family Services in Hume Region (Child Protection) in Victoria. Amanda will share with you some of the exciting developments in what we believe is a world class child protection service.

Amanda will also outline the current career opportunities on offer to experienced Child and Family Welfare social workers from New Zealand, the benefits and details about how to apply.

Who should attend?

If you are interested in embarking on a rewarding career, a career that counts, have experience in child and family welfare and would like to hear what Victoria might have to offer you, we encourage you to attend an information session.
