Adoption and Permanent Care Programs are also responsible for Step Children and Adoption (for parents considering adoption of a step child).

If you have the care and responsibility of a stepchild you may be thinking of formalizing your relationship and giving it legal status. The leaflet "Step Children and Adoption" explains the legal situation in regard to Step Children and Adoption Victoria.
