Veronica, Peter and Mark collectively planned, designed, secured funding for, and built an Indigenous garden at the Parkville Youth Residential Centre (PYRC). The garden reflects the trio's commitment to addressing the specific needs of Aboriginal children and young people, who are over represented in the Victorian juvenile justice population.

The garden, named Ngarra-Jarra (to heal) by the Wurundjeri people on whose country PYRC is located, supports a growing number of onsite programs for both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal residents.
