Aboriginal Family Decision Making

Aboriginal Family Decision Making services enable extended family and respected community Elders to participate in decision making about care and protection of the children and young people in their community.

Sharing messages - A video and learning package for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Family Decision Making Program (AFDM) [PDF 1.9mb 43 pages] - a learning resource developed by Indigenous Initiatives in conjunction with the Child Protection Professional Development Unit.
