Submission Process
The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a joint submission for a joint and integrated approach from suitably qualified and experienced Community Service Organisations (CSOs) to provide integrated family violence services for women and children who have experienced violence and services for men who use violence from July 2006.
To enable the provision of consistent and integrated high quality family violence services, DHS is seeking joint submissions that demonstrate partnerships between CSOs. CSOs should have an extensive understanding of the nature and dynamics of family violence and experience in delivering these services.
There are two separate submission processes for the following services:
1. Integrated family violence services for women and children
2. Integrated family violence services for men – Men's behaviour change program and Emergency housing options for men
A copy of the relevant submission specification may be obtained from the DHS regional contact person.
Further information about submission process and submission requirements will be provided at the regional briefing sessions.
Partnership development grants
Non-recurrent partnership development grants will be allocated to all eligible submissions to facilitate the development of regional or sub-regional partnerships and joint submissions for integrated family violence services for women and children.
