Achieving Service Quality Improvement - Best Practice Initiatives in Placement and Support Services 2000-2001
The Service Quality Partnership The Placement and Support Best Practice Initiatives Project was developed through the partnership of the Placement and Support Advisory Group and the Child Protection and Juvenile Justice Branch of the Department of Human Services. The Advisory Group provides advice and support for the development and service quality improvement of placement and support services. It included a broad range of representatives from CSOs, the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare (formerly the CWAV), Department of Human Services regions and the Child Protection and Juvenile Justice Branch. The Minister for Community Services, the Hon Christine Campbell MP, has strongly supported the Best Practice Initiatives Project as a means to establish a new climate of partnership, and a spirit of challenge and optimism throughout the child and family welfare field generally and to further improve services and outcomes for Victoria's children and young people.
