Disability Services Division

The Disability Services Division is responsible for funding and providing a range of supports and services for people in Victoria with intellectual, physical, sensory and dual disabilities, neurological impairments and acquired brain injury.

Within the context of the Department's mission and objectives, the aim of the Disability Services Division is to improve the quality of life for Victorians with a disability through supports and services that enhance people's independence, choice and community inclusion.

Disability Services Division provides strategic leadership through the development and implementation of policy. Our strategies require us to work in partnership with people with a disability, their families, carers, departmental regional officers and non-government support providers to achieve our overall objectives.
