Code of Ethical Practice
The Youth Affairs Council of Victoria (YACVic) has released a code of ethical practice, entitled ‘A First Step for the Victorian Youth Sector.’
The code contains a list of practice responsibilities and eight guiding youth work principles that youth workers should work towards for young people. The code is voluntary and was developed in consultation with members of the youth sector. The code can be downloaded from the YACVic website at www.yacvic.org.au
