Improved Service Responses for Young People
Over recent times, the Department for Victorian Communities (Office for Youth) and the Department of Human Services (Youth Services and Youth Justice), have been working together to review the literature and consider good practice models and "best bets" to improve outcomes for young people. To this end, DVC and DHS have contracted KPMG to undertake a literature review that will investigate the most effective practices and models for delivering generalist early support to young people.
To date, five workshops and a Statewide Forum have been held regarding the provision of generalist early support services for Victorian young people.
